Projects Administered by Deschutes County

Paving of La Pine Area Roadways (La Pine Area) – Crews will be installing asphalt pavement on 3rd Street, 5th Street, Pengra Road and Walker Road in La Pine. Crews will also be paving on roadway approaches and doing shoulder work on 6th Street and Dorrance Meadow Road.

Traffic Information – Road users should anticipate single-lane closures with flaggers and delays of up to 20 minutes during work hours. Works hours are expected to be 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday.

S Century Drive/Huntington Road Intersection Improvement (La Pine Area) – Crews will be installing landscaping and seeding the project area.

Traffic Information – Road users should expect lane closures with flaggers and delays of up to 20 minutes on Monday, Oct. 5, from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Asphalt Paving and Repair (Bend and Sisters Areas) – Crews will be installing asphalt pavement on Walton Road and Pinehurst Road.

Traffic Information – Road users should anticipate single-lane closures with flaggers and delays of up to 20 minutes during work hours. Work hours are expected to be 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Thursday.

Projects Administered by Other Agencies

Hamby Road and Ward Road Utility Work – Crews will be installing underground utilities on Hamby Road and Ward Road.

Traffic Information - Road users should anticipate single-lane closures with flaggers and delays of up to 20 minutes during work hours. Work hours are expected to be 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Saturday.

La Pine Area Utility Work – Crews will be installing underground utilities on 1st Street, 4th Street, Bonnie Lane, Coach Road, Morson Street, and William Foss Road.

Traffic Information – Road users should anticipate single-lane closures with detours, single-lane closures with flaggers and delays of up to 20 minutes. Work hours are expected to be 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday.

Work adjacent to school property on Coach Road and 1st Street will be done on weekends.

U.S. 97: Terrebonne (Oregon Department of Transportation) – Crews will be landscaping and doing miscellaneous cleanup work along 11th Street, Smith Rock Way and adjacent roadways.

Traffic Information – Lower Bridge Way and Smith Rock Way are now open. Road users should use caution when navigating the new roundabout and roadway alignments.

China Hat Road & FS Road 1815 Closure (US Forest Service) – China Hat Road and Forest Service Road 1815 are both closed at the USFS Boundary for forest restoration work.

Traffic Information – China Hat Road and FS Road 1815 are closed to all traffic at the end of County maintenance. Access to the area is closed until further notice.
