SALEM, Ore. - The second round of voting in the 2026 Coolest Thing Made in Oregon contest concluded on Monday, Oct. 5, narrowing the list of finalists to four. See the list below.

Voting began two weeks ago with 16 finalists representing a wide variety of products manufactured throughout the state, from Ashland to Portland. The semifinal round of voting, which will narrow the finalists to two, has begun. It will end on Monday, Oct. 12.

The Coolest Thing Made in Oregon contest, now in its fourth year, is presented by Oregon Business & Industry. Oregonians can view a competition bracket, learn about all 16 Coolest Thing finalists and, most importantly, vote on OBI’s website here.

A panel chose this year’s finalists from scores of products nominated by Oregonians over the spring and summer. Members of the public will narrow the field of finalists during several rounds of voting. The winner of this year’s contest will be announced on Oct. 28 at OBI’s annual Vision Oregon Event, which will take place in Portland.

The four remaining finalists and the company locations:

• PNW Assistive Technology’s Wayfinder Ride-On Toys (Eugene)

• Tillamook’s Sharp Cheddar Cheese (Tillamook)

• Tucker Sno-Cat’s Model 1600 Over Snow Vehicle (Medford)

• Work Sharp’s RMX Reverse Tanto Folding Knife (Ashland)
