CANBY, Ore. -- State Senator Christine Drazan (R-Canby) released the following statement Friday regarding the outcome of Oregon's gubernatorial election:

“I reached out to Governor Kotek to wish her well. I sincerely hope she recognizes that the challenges facing our state demand a different approach than what we've seen over the last four years. Oregonians are depending on her to deliver.

While there are still ballots left to be counted, it is clear that the remaining votes will not change the outcome of this election. This is not the result we had hoped for, but I am incredibly proud of the campaign we ran and the commitment we made to Oregonians to lower costs and deliver results at a time they so desperately need it.”
