PRINEVILLE, Ore. – The Crook County Sheriff’s Office asked the public on Thursday to be on the lookout for an 81-year-old Prineville man who left his home Tuesday afternoon and may be headed to the San Francisco Bay Area.

In a Facebook post Thursday afternoon, the sheriff’s office said Harry Allan Coxey, who goes by his middle name, is 6-foot-1 and 270 pounds, with gray hair. His clothing at the time is unknown, but he’s believed to be driving his blue 2000 GMC Yukon, with Oregon license plate 221 DRZ.

Coxey does not have a cell phone, deputies said, and there may be a Native American fish sticker on the rear window.

Anyone who has seen Coxey or has any information about where he might be is asked to call Crook County 9-1-1 dispatchers at 541-447-4168, or your local law enforcement agency if you believe you have located him.

The public also was asked to “please share the post, to reach as many people as possible.”
