BEND, Ore. – There are so many people, organizations and businesses coming forward to help the Bend community in the wake of Thursday’s tragic shooting at Silver Rail Elementary that they can be hard to track - which is a wonderful, even beautiful thing in such a time of pain and loss.

Much of that focus, of course, is on helping the victims and their families, including a Meal Train set up for the family of the youngest victim, 5-year-old Rhoam Summer.

In just a day, the fundraising effort had topped $155,000 given by nearly 2,800 donors, well beyond the initial $100,000 fundraising goal.

A separate GoFundMe page for the family had topped its $100,000 goal Friday night.

According to data from the Associated Press tracking U.S. school shootings dating back to 1966, Summer is the youngest victim ever killed in a mass school shooting.

There is also a GoFundMe page for Kaylub Gianmanco, the Silver Rail father of two girls who chased after and fatally shot the young shooter. By Friday night, the page had raised nearly $200,000 of its $350,000 goal from 4,000 donors.

And there is a GoFundMe page for Saylor Graham, the 7-year-old girl seriously wounded in the attack. By Saturday morning, there had been 6,600 donations totaling almost $342,000, a long way toward the $450,000 goal.
