BEND, Ore. -- A 22-year-old Bend man was arrested early Wednesday on assault and other charges, including parole violation, after an overnight stabbing during a dispute in southeast Bend, police said.

Shortly after midnight, officers responded to a report from a man who told 911 dispatchers he had stabbed another person during a dispute, Bend Police Community Relations Manager Jessica Rich said in a news release.

"Responding officers encountered three people at the scene, some of whom were not cooperative," Rich wrote.

Officers located the victim, who had several cuts to their arm. Bend Fire medics took the victim to St. Charles Bend for treatment. Two knives were recovered at the scene.

Officers arrested Devin Anthony Ordish on suspicion of second-degree assault, unlawful use of a weapon and parole violation. Ordish was brought to Bend Police Department before being transported to Deschutes County Jail.
